Terms of Service

Welcome to VineOS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VineOS web application, mobile containers, and related database services. By registering an account, deploying a church branch dashboard, or accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are registering on behalf of a church, congregation, or religious organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. Account Security and Verification

VineOS implements a carrier-independent OTP + secure PIN and biometric registration architecture designed to prevent login friction and lower SMS fees:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN code and securing your registered biometric credentials (TouchID/FaceID) on your personal devices.
• You must provide accurate mobile telephone coordinates for your profile. Telephone records are normalized to standard formats to guarantee authentication.
• You agree to immediately notify your church administrator or campus office of any unauthorized access to your account or security breaches.

2. Discipleship Data & Organization Ownership

As a specialized Church Management System, data integrity is crucial to church multiplication operations:

• The registered church organization retains all ownership rights, control, and responsibility over member profiles, cell meeting logs, attendance check-ins, and consolidation syllabus progress within its tenant boundaries.
• We enforce Row-Level Security (RLS) to guarantee complete isolation. Church branch administrators cannot inspect or access datasets belonging to other campuses or church organizations.
• Your personal faith journey progress (completed syllabus checkpoints, consolidation tracking status) is visible solely to designated consolidators and church staff under K12 guidelines.

3. Acceptable Use Guidelines

You agree to utilize VineOS solely for lawful ecclesiastical administration, small group networking, and community building. You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass database security policies, access control filters, or query data belonging to other organizations.
• Scrape, export, or harvest member telephone contact records or personal profiles in bulk for commercial distribution.
• Overload or stress-test OTP messaging channels or database APIs through automated scripts or unauthorized queries.

4. Online Giving & Tithes Ledgers

Tithes, offerings, and donations submitted via our public giving portal (`/public/give`) are processed immediately by our payment partners. All contributions are final. VineOS records metadata to reconcile contributions to CRM profiles but does not store credit card credentials.

5. Modifications & Discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features of the platform (such as updating minimum required wrapper versions for App Stores or altering message delivery configurations) to maintain security compliance. We will notify organization administrators in advance of any breaking changes.

6. Limitation of Liability

VineOS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any service interruptions, loss of attendance records, or messaging delivery delays caused by external network providers or third-party gateways.
